Fakes, Flakes and Missed Connections

So a little activity lately with interested parties, however nothing has clicked.
I've been contacted a few times by some potential players that are looking, but for a number of reasons, nothing has progressed to far.
Whether it's their fault or mine, I've tried to be pretty clear in my communication, but I'm not sure which people are the fakers that really are not portraying themselves honestly to me, or the ones that are just horney at the moment and loose patience with me trying to get to know them.
I mean, it's tricky when a potential sub contact you as a Dom on getting the lines of communication and expectations down first before going all out Dom-Mode.
Do subs actually think that a real Dominant when contacted once will immediately place their claim on the potential sub and have them groveling and frigging themselves within 5 minutes of contact? After 20 minutes of back and forth over email do they expect to be collared?

How about you find out a little about me to make sure that I am worthy of you giving your submission to me first before just throwing it over to me? You know that kinda shows me that your submission isn't quite worthy of me if that's how easy it is to give away.
I get the others, the "it's late, I'm lonely tonite and I just wanna get off and your profile/writing really makes me hot, so I'll be your slave/slut tonite and how about you "use me" and abuse me so I can get off" attitude. But that just ain't how I roll.
You want a mindfuck, you want someone reaching into your inner psyche and grabbing it with both firm hands and shaking it to the core, well that takes a little communication, and I gotta know a few things about you, a little "give and take" goes a much longer way. That way I can really fuck you over.
But alas, so far, no luck.
